Step 1
Choose the correct cake knife and spatula. A serrated knife or bread knife work the best.
Step 2
Remove the cake from the stand.
Step 3
Separate the tiers with a spatula.
Step 4
From edge of cake, measure in 2” and cut a circle into the center of the cake, then slice 1” pieces around the outer section.
Step 5
Repeat this process until there is less than a 4” circle remaining in the center of the cake.
